INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER – £350-£400 DAY – LIVERPOOL – 6 MONTHS CONTRACT

Our global Automotive/Manufacturing client is seeking to modernise and productionise a number of historical business-delivered tactical technology solutions used within manufacturing.

This is a Project Manager role to manage the design and transition of these Legacy solutions, bringing them on-net, introducing enterprise class security whilst ensuring they continue to meet the business needs.

The role
• To Project Manage activities confirming functional and non-functional requirements, creating high-level and detailed designs, obtaining relevant signoffs and supporting the implementation and support handover phases.
• Reporting into the Programme Manager, the Project Manager must be adaptable, pragmatic, delivery focused (a doer’ more than a thinker’) and have extensive experience across the full project delivery life cycle
• The role ensures end-end life cycle of infrastructure, from Analysis, through Design and working with technical specialists, vendors or third parties to build and deploy supported infrastructure.
• Much of the day-to-day work will involve requirements analysis; assessing existing architectural standards; producing, revising and seeking sign-off of technical designs; providing technical input into internal processes such as governance and support; and liaising with architectural and technical resources and internal customers

Required Skills:
• Experienced Project Manager within Automotive Manufacturing managing projects of a infrastructure change environment.
• Flexible, open approach, capable of working in a high-pressured environments
• Ability to discover, understand and adhere to internal processes and multiple stakeholder requirements, managing conflicting requirements between stakeholder groups
• Ability to lead and manage other technical resources, including remote management of offshore resources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including accurate technical documentation and ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide audience
