SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER – £100K – ROTHERHAM

Senior Infrastructure Manager – Rotherham – Permanent – £85k – £100k

Barclay Anderson is currently working with a global banking organisation who are starting a greenfield project at their new tech centre based in Rotherham.

Reporting to the Group Head of Technology and CIO you will provide effective and efficient services aligned with our clients expanding business objectives. This role is a technical and leadership role with focused responsibility for optimising outsourced architecture and technologies as well as in house systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

·leading infrastructure team to achieve technology andbusiness

·overseeing the outsource delivery, internal technology structure and networks within stated uptime tolerance andbudget

·working with technology leadership team to maintain technology policies andprocedures

·maintaining documentation for existing technology systemsarchitecture

·ensuring existing and proposed technology systems and outsourced architecture align with stated business objectives comply with corporate standards and regulatoryguidance

·benchmarking, analysing and making recommendations for improvement in technology services and systems by way of efficiency, cost or features

·partnering with business leads, change management and VMO toprovide technology expertise when reviewing technology-based proposals, business case justifications and cost/benefitanalyses

·maintaining and monitoring appropriate controls for technology across the Group, including outsourceproviders

Your experience/skills may include:

·10years’experienceinarelatedinfrastructure managementrole

·demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through teams and manage successfulchange

·ability to perform and prioritise multipletasks seamlessly with excellent attention todetail

·strong interpersonal skills including facilitation, interviewing, negotiating, influencing, written and verbal communication, andpresentation

·ability to build relationships with stakeholders during business change and throughout the servicelifecycle

·understanding of relevant international and domestic legislation applicable to the IT risk and control environment

·(e.g., SOX, data protection, human rights and cyber-relatedtopics)

·ability to implement methods, techniques, countermeasures and contingency arrangements relating to the serious disruption of technologyservices
